I see Laura Trott is the latest high profile name to masquerade her personal opinion as fact on the subject. I wonder if pro cyclists are on some sort of Government commission scheme to kick cycling right now.

So far only 20 signatures versus 5590 for compulsory helmet use. Thankfully this isn't a vote otherwise it would be embarrassing. You can't argue with democracy after all.

Interestingly the no vote is still lagging behind the call for compulsory licences for London cycling and the call to make cycling on footpaths illegal. The good news is that it is a tie between asking for cyclists to pay road tax, and the vote is well ahed of the one calling for green cycle lanes along every A road in the UK.

For this reason I have not signed anything as it is all a load of bo@@ocks!

Signed, make it compulsory for drivers to slow down and give you so some room. The speed some drivers have passed me at ( and how close), a helmet wouldn't make a lot of difference if they made contact!!!!

The government is keen for us to embrace pedal power, well have more emphasis on driver safety when in the proximity of cyclists !!!! Nice tv campaign educating the minority of bad drivers would be nice

P.S. I wear a helmet on the road,but not in the woods & bridle ways
