A friend gave me some of these little basket things from an artisan bakers near her that uses them, nice but I'm not sure if they're any better than my 'Pampered Chef' stoneware loaf tin.

Anyway my ponceometer has exploded.

I'm not poncey like you and I've got them. Mine don't have poncey writing on though.

As an aside, there's a shop down the road sells artisan scooters.

Apologies for going a bit OT I use the term poncey myself but I always wondered how the term poncey came about to describle middle classy type things. When did the true definition of the word ponce change as it was a term coined in the 60's for a man who lives off a prostitutes earnings.

a man who lives off a prostitute's earnings.
verb
  1. 1.
    live off a prostitute's earnings.

I guess it's not hard to see how the word might go from "an effeminate man" to "someone who bakes bread in little wooden baskets"
