Years ago on a canal boat holiday we saw a small sign on a stake near the edge of the canal that simply read.

'Please do not tie boats to this sign'

Seemed like the work of a Douglas Adams fan to me.

Arthur Dent: I wonder what'll happen if I press this button.
Ford Prefect: Don't.
Arthur Dent: [presses it] Oh.
Ford Prefect: What happened?
Arthur Dent: A sign lit up saying "Please do not press this button again."

There's plenty of useful information in that sign. It might definitely be reserved, but they're not definite it's reserved, while it's not definitely unreserved.

I did. Otherwise, it was an uneventful journey, all trains on time, not crowded..

Actually, all trains on time and not crowded, that is something of an event....
