I had to have some MRI scans a couple of years ago as I was going through a very severe stage of the neuralgia I sometimes get:angry:and my specialist wanted to see if i could maybe be cured by an operation.it was only my head they needed to scan and my experience of the slight claustrophobia and major clunking was the same but it wasnt a bad experience at all. Untill I was given an injection mid-scan and im awful with needles anyway but bloody hell that one hurtxx(

Unfortunately an operation was not the answer but the good news was I finally had proof that yes...I HAVE got a brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn your eyes if I haven't arrived on this thread late. I did a PhD on PET in the mid '90s, so if anyone wants to know about Orlov's condition or 3D Fourier-based image reconstruction, just ask! Or I could just start an MRI/PET pissing contest with maggers.

That is what I want!

I fancy an MR/PET to compliment the PET CT!

We nearly bought a combined SPECT/PET/CT when we commisioned the present system.
