Back home.. Nice easy Friday.
A snooze is in order so I'd appreciate it if you can post quietly for a while, please 👍

I'll just put on my Metallica CD.

The problem with many cars of the same colour is trying to find yours in a big car park. Many years ago a couple of work colleagues and I went to Milton Keynes Bowl to see Guns'N'Roses and sensibly noted down the car park code letter & location of where the driver had parked his car. Walking back afterwards I'll always remember the anguished shout of someone else looking for their car of "Just how bl**dy many red Ford Escorts are there?"

Wasn't red the base colour for Ford?

I had a yellow Dolomite Sprint, however I also had a long fibreglass whip aerial.

My present car has a non standard stumpy aerial

Lunch at are favourite garden centre at Thurlaston cheese and tuna melt toasted sandwich .We like this garden centre due to its situation in open country Great food .Not cluttered with big ticket garden furniture.Has for a relatively small garden centre a extensive range of plants.
Bought six Verbena plants.Lawn weed killer

They have recently set up a small area selling fresh fruit.Bought a kilo of Rhubarb.Oops is Rhubarb a fruit or vegetable?🙂🙂

Been car hunting seen a few and too many we can’t afford. Looking at one tomorrow year older than ours so a 09 full service history with 34k miles. I’m now in 2 minds to get a proper assessment of our car and spend what we can afford on a new one. Getting our current one up and running again.
I just don’t want us to end up being rushed into things and end up being sold a lemon. Only ever dealt with big name dealers , with our price range that’s now out.
I just don’t know what’s for the best.

Every time I go for a seat in my garden somebody starts up with a strimmer or loud petrol mower. This afternoon it happened again but I could hardly complain as it was my neighbour cutting my grass as well as his own.
This was after modifying the length of a walking stick I made earlier. Very rustic this one and all wood unlike a lot which have bits of red deer antler.
Good service from Kinetics in Glasgow as he has already fixed my defunct trike and it should be back in the Oban area tomorrow. The main cable to the motor had got severed somehow but there were no external signs. Transport is the main expense but last month's premium bonds pays most of it. It will have to remain at my son's house for a couple of weeks yet as I am due over there for some triking in early June.
Chances of getting ferry bookings for a day trip are pretty remote and I do not feel like doing 160 miles by the alternative. I used that route a lot in the past when heading south but now with so much touroid traffic it is very stressful and slow.
