Newbie hello

Hi and welcome to the forum, cycling can be just as fun in all weathers.... I read a comment from this forum that said there was no such thing as bad cycling weather just bad clothing. ....just get out and enjoy

Got some winter gear but a little worried as the tyres on the road bike are just so slick. Pretty much know what the limits are on my mtb but totally new to road bikes. Guess i just need more time on it. Forecast is sun tomorrow so i will hopefully go for a good spin. I have become a met office addict

My road tyres are conti gator skins they are pretty much slicks not bad in three the wet but very hairy on wet drain covers.......
