I'm interested to see what resolution your monitors are set at. I want to debunk the myth that net users are still using 800x600

if you are not sure you can check by going to START, CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY,SETTINGS and your screen resolution will be displayed. Thanks

thanks Vernon thats exactly what I'm trying to demonstrate here . Web desigers still persist in constructing web pages with silly 800x600 resolutions claiming that a substantial proprtion of users are still using 800x600 monitor resolution which is clearly a load of tosh.
The result is that the majority of users ie with monitor settings of 1400 or 1600 + have to endure miniscule text sizing and struggle to read anything if they wear reading glasses .

ta muchley
its the resolution setting for your monitor.
for example HDTV starts at 1280x720
PAL TV is 720x576
Try setting your monitor display resolution up to the next setting and apply it see what a difference it makes . If you don't like it simply change it back again.

Most PC users are unaware that they can vastly improve their monitor viewing by increasing their default setting
