It was my granddaughter, 16, who informed me of this when she was talking about walking up Pen y Fan this summer proclaiming that it's a mountain.
I, 71½, disagreed as it's only 2907' meaning that Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa was the only actual mountain south of Hadrians Wall.
Just wondering at what point this changed.

The Mode switch is used slightly differently in as much as only UK uses POA so the 'dissected square' is POA in UK but is Rest during shift times and the 'Bed' mode being any rest taken in UK but overnight/full daily rest in all other EU countries.

Yes, people got done for taking money, but they hadn't taken it and the post office took their money off them despite knowing this.

On the Northern Rail service between Leeds and York via Harrogate, why is it that at these stations the destination on the info boards and announcements is always given as the penultimate stations (Poppleton or Burley Park)? At all the intermediate stops the destination is correctly shown as Leeds or York, so why not at the two mainline stations?

I have mad face/head scratching moments quite often. I try to hold off scratching a sudden mad itch for as long as I can. The longest I've made is 7 seconds, when the itching just got worse and I couldn't resist scratching the itch anymore. My question is when a has to stand like a statue guardsman is on duty outside say Buckingham Palace for example, If/when he has such a mad itch what can/does he do? 🤔

They probably just have good eyesight. Birds are always combing the area from above to find interesting things to eat. That said, I never had that problem when putting my grass seed down, but there were a few cats in the area so maybe they avoided it
