I really enjoyed FrIday night's outing, my first with the Reading crew. Thanks to them as organised it. The weather was great, though my glasses steamed up disconcertingly as we whizzed down a couple of descents into the misty dark. The light at dawn and as we sat on the ferry was lovely and I thought the New Forest was very fine too. I'm definitely up for more of the same next year. Thanks again

There was a good pub at the end of Swing Swang lane. Always had wadworths bishops tipple on tap which at 5% we used to think was hellish strong. It calls itself a restaurant these days, so must have gone downhill.

There was one pub round there that was still going strong at 2:30am, or whenever it was that we passed.
