All the girls around here seem to wear those knee length tights you speak of. When I was at school it was leg warmers. Fashion innit.

My God, in my day I just missed having to wear LISLE stockings at my Grammar School in the 50s. How awful that would have been. Imagine me cycling across town, school beret, blazer, skirt blowing up and showing suspenders & lisle stockings on a cross-bar bike?

On second thoughts, could that be as good as lycra LOL?
