Well I've done the Ashton canal both ways and I was going to ride it on to Marple but tbh its bumpy as hell so I decided I'd try that there fallowfield loop thingy .
Now don't laugh but a total of 10 miles took me an hour ish ,but to be fair I wasn't going for speed . Loved the flat path and smiled all the way and the wife loved I wasn't covered in mud I saw a few PEDs and gave them a smile and hello and I saw a few roadies who declined answering to my hello , but I guess a bloke in 3/4 baggies and vans wasn't their image of a serious cyclist ah well I'll live I suppose . All in all though loved the ride and upping it a couple more miles too just wish it woulda rained cos call me weird but I love cycling in the rain .
