So, how do YOU spell AC/DC?

It's one of those questions that's obvious on paper, but not aurally. If you didn't know the band, it could be Ayseedeesee, or something like that...

If you do know the band, then yes, it should be obvious, but then how many of us have heard something day in, day out, for ages before seeing it written and then saying "oh, I get it now....!" Well, I have....

The guy might not have known how to spell, simple as that. He might be able to write and say AC/DC but that doesn't mean he can spell it! Seriously. We take it for granted but spelling might be a concept that he just doesn't understand. There are many weird and wonderful aphasias etc out there.

As I recall, he was saying A D C D, so I reckon he was probably just getting tongue tied and flustered. But the presenters handled it well and the guy himself seemed ok about it so no harm done.
