7. The binary one could only be an even number, as there's a 0 as the last digit, so no need to calculate the rest of it.

That's what made it easy , but exams are about knowledge and application so they were testing you knew the rules for Binary.

I got 7/7 and am now being smug dad as daughter who does "GCSE" next year struggled.

I hope they kept the male and female rabbits separate but it sounds like they were in one big pile where you scooped out a rabbit, probably a pregnant female. I don't think these exam setters are too practical.

3/7.In my defence i only took cse"s so this is new to me.I didnt do very well at those either.

5/7. Should have been 6 but as I was pen in hand working out binary the wrong thing got pressed. As for the Classics I put my hand up to being an ignoramus. TBH the only time I've ever noticed needing to know the Classics is to answer quiz questions

And you don't use Greek letters in formulae (a Latin word), Greek and Latin derived names for chemicals (another Greek word), Latin names for plant and animal species (two Latin words)?

I got the maths one wrong. Beer was involved. I got two others wrong. Beer was involved there too, but the major culprit was iggerance. Dido? Who? That sort of thing. (Slinks away into corner...)

2/7 ..I guessed nearly all of them , just as i did in my CSE exams in the 80's..

ill go self employed and save the 40k uni fee's lol
