Half Man Half Biscuit at the Cambridge Junction. They were sublime!

How about what gig didn't you go to last night?

I have a ticket for Aldous Harding at the Waterfront in Norwich and she's probably taking to the stage right now. The original date for the gig was April last year and I just couldn't be bothered driving the hour each way having had a quick re-listen to her albums.

Just home after watching From The Jam at The Cadogan Hall

Just back from seeing Mark Steele at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff. He was very good.

No gig last night but just grabbed tickets to see The Strokes at the Asia World Arena in July.

Not last night or even last week... but earlier this month a local band called Deccan Traps whom I've seen several times over the years. They only play once in a blue moon and it's usually a ramshackle under-rehearsed performance, with the odd moment of magic. The first time i saw them the drummer had one arm in plaster, the second time the person who brought the PA didn't know how to make it work. This time the guitar player couldn't make it so it was just bass and drums and vocals and it sounded brilliant.

We went to see Lionel Richie at the County Ground, Taunton last night. Mrs N was keen to go, I wasn't overly excited by the prospect. However, it was a fantastic evenings entertainment.

Muse last night at the Bowl, went with a group of friends and all our kids. Great night, great show, support from Royal Blood who were also very good.

Went to Jamiroquai last night...he was good.
Off to see Pulp in Manchester next week so I'm looking forward to that.
