G: your watching your speedo which has the effect of slowing you down as your trying hard to get your speed as high as you can and so not pacing yourself,

the cure is to remove speedo, paint a spoke red and if you can't see it amongst the others then your going fast enough.

Nah, I don't really watch it, the odd glance (especially if going down hill).

I'll be going out for a little bit later...and it is a little bit cooler today so we'll see.

It could be option J...since my bike has been in for a service, the bike has changed a bit so I need to get used to it...and it has! Feels more powerful/less wasted energy.

Lovely ride this morning! Not as much traffic as there can be, and no overtakes that made me jump out of my lycras.
