Does anyone know how to download a video from you tube and save it so that you can run it on windows media player. I want to insert some into a presentation im giving at work.

Do you use Firefox?

There's an add-on called VideoDownloadHelper that does exactly as you desire.

You can use things like Savetube.com....but the best thing is Downloadhelper if you are using Firefox as your browser as you can download the HQ version too or a Quicktime version to stick on an iPod. To use in WMP you'd need a video converter to change it from FLV or MP4 to a WMP friendly format.
