£500 to spend on a Hybrid which one?

i am a total novis when it comes to my knowledge on bikes, all i know is i want a Hybrid.

I have been looking at the Coda comp from Jamis and the Specialized Sirrus Elite. which one of these 2 are the best? and are there any other bikes i should be looking at?

Can't go wrong with a Sirrus IMO, I had one as a commuter for a while was a great bike. Sold it after wanting to change to drop bar

That ^ ^ +1 I have had 2 Sirruses - one nicked, one sold to make way for a drop barred commuter (9 months and it was time for a change...nowt wrong with the bike but)
