registered with halfords then filled in a short questionaire about 6 questions if it is that

you then get offered a voucher that you print out which has a bar code on it and you take to the store for 10 per cent discount on an online order

this is on top of any other offers going on

at present they are doing 3 for 2 and then you get the 10 per cent discount

on sram 951 chains this works out at less than £10 a chain or takes £55 of the boardman comp road bike bringing it down to £495 for tiagra groupset with 105 derailler and weights 19.5lbs,must be one of the best deals out there

hope this info helps

Good bargains there Jack.

But, I find Halfords far too expensive vs online retailers - e.g Shimano M520 pedals £18-£20 as the cheapest outlets.

Halfords price - £39.99.

So a 10% discount will only bring this down to £36.

went into today and got the following 2 cateye micro cumputers and 1 pair of shimano m540 pedals

instore the pedals £54.99
instore cateye £39.99 each

total purchasing instore134.97 you then go for the 3 for 2 deal and the price comes down to £94.97

order on line the micro cumputers go down to £29.99,
the spd pedals go down to £37.99 so ordering on line using the 3 for 2 you pay £67.98

today I also used the 10 per cent voucher with bar code and the 3 for 2 offer and paid £61.18 for 2 cateye micro computers and 1 pair of spd m540 pedals.

surely this has got to be good value for money

on the web site you look at the bottom of the web page for current offers and you then click on it and fill in about 6 question questionaire
your offer is then sent via email.

phil it is not about pedals or computers but using halfords for cheaper gear

their gatorskin tyres are £22- 3 for 2 less 10 per cent works out at £13.20 a tyre

sram 9 speed 951 chain using the same method works out at £10.10 a chain

I am basically just bringing it to peoples notice thats all
