Gabriella (as in Rodrigo y Gabriella) is one that is obviously missing.
I wonder how many in the top 10 could match this ?

David Gilmour outside the Top Ten?. Just recently heard DSOM live 1974 from the experience re-issue. My God, that guitar is orgasmic:smile:

This list is utter, utter, utter, utter, pants.
haven't seen a larger list of total [deleted expletive] in years...

An odd omission, yes, but there don't seem to be any jazzers - how about Wes Montgomery or George Benson (before his MOR crooner days).

Yes, and no Joe Pass; I'm not sure I saw Charlie Christian on the list, either.

Hendrix is the Bradman of guitar playing - way, way, way ahead of all the rest.

Can't agree with that; mind you, it is very difficult to compare Hendrix with Django; different eras & genres. Both seminal figures though and highly influential on those who followed.

Very good indeed !

I must confess that I've not heard of this artist - but I will take notice in future !

Sadly, this music isn't mainstream and thus, not as good as Elvis ^_^

I think it's great though !

Bo Diddley would be a lot higher in mine but I'm a sucker for killer riffs n rythym. For me it's often the most simple stuff that sings.

Has anyone found an easy to peruse version of this list?
