I'd take the better groupset, since a wheel upgrade is almost inevitable at some point.

This was the main reason I moved up the scale and chose 105. Whilst the cable route implies some issues it looks a lot neater than those not hidden.The advantage of that is the cabling goes under the bar tape on 105 levers.
