My little purple Golf has gone one hundred and twentythree thousand, four hundred and fifty six kilometres!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm actually very chuffed I had the wherewithall this evening to record this magic moment in the life of a motor vehicle.

Now, if i could just up the mileage on the Kona... (or one of the Scotts, or the Trek, or the Raleigh even).

It's funny how this stuff matters. I'm currently counting down the mileage on "my" truck to 666666 km. It's not important at all, in any way, to anyone, but I've got to have something to while away the long hours every night!

When my Volvo was approaching 200000 miles I took my good camera on the journey it was going to happen on, and even went the long way around so I would be able to stop.

My pug 406 here in France has just rolled over the 300000 km number, cars in France do lots of miles! In the uk 70k is high milage!

That's a worry then, my Mondeo diesel has 128000 MILES on the clock or about 208000k, not bad for the UK.

I always see them coming up and glance down a few times in anticipation, waiting for the magical tumbling of the 9s, but then I get sidetracked and then suddenly think 'damn!' and look down and sure enough it says 600002 or something.

Quite true ,looks about 36mph, I took one when my car did 57mpg, rest camera on steering wheel,drive and just keep pressing the button then sort out the best photo.

Motorway, no hard shoulder, night and no other vehicles around, a quick snap, have spent more time tuning the radio, etc.
... busted.

58008 is better tho. Does anyone have 5318008?
