Loss I find never really goes away. It's nice to be able to remember your loved ones after they have passed and photos are an excellent way to do so. I hope you have a nice time remembering your mum today

It will be 14 years for me on November 23 when my mum succumbed to a fatal stroke at only 64. Weird thing is, it's a double-whammy as my dad passed away on November 26 in 2007. I miss them both. My thoughts are with you today. Celebrate life and just try to be the best human being your mum would have wanted you to be. That's what I try to do. And nobody ever dies as long as you remember them.

My mum was 65, and died 5 weeks after her diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer.
My dad died in January this year, so it's my first time remembering them both.
I always do my best to my live life how my mum taught me; with compassion for others, kindness and full of enjoyment

It's a sad reality that a lot of kids nowadays don't get the love of outdoors passed on to them and are stuck behind games consoles. Thanks. My mum and dad used to take us out most weekends in the car, and they would point out various wildlife and plants, as well as give us a history lesson of the various places we visited. Different times indeed!
It was a short ride today but I got out - a little tribute to them both

Hopefully you had some air while out as it was slim on the commute home at one stage I did declare my love for rain when it started haha.. I was fortunate enough to have the same and try my very best to make sure the kids do also

It was cooler here in Scotland but still muggy. I too enjoyed the showers when they arrived
