This pic is of the north bound side of the road, it's the south bound to Dungy that has the concrete joints under the tarmac. Which is still lumpy.

Still need to look into the route - July is a quiet month for events for me, so I will have a look come July and work it out x

Yes a suspicious suggestion for sure. Great way to get eaten out of house and home.

Have to say, though, I'm not a big fan of the road from Lydd down to Dungeness - although it's very flat, it's also very bumpy due to all the joins between the concrete sections, which is especially problematic when you're riding fixed, as I was last time I was down there.

Might have been improved since then - it's been a few years.

As mentioned, I will be attempting the Fairies 50km route again - just start from Ashford International and we will cut through Great Chart from there....should still be a good mileage.
