I got my 19 years badge last month.
I checked out my profile. The email address I registered with hasn't been accessed in years. I had 2 bikes listed - 1 got sold in Covid (I think), but possibly way before that. The other got passed to my son, before being broken in 2 by a SMIDSY and going off to that great bike shed in the sky.
I can't remember what the previous forum was (that this one replaced when the old one shut down). I know I joined that before my youngest was born, maybe even my eldest. I was riding a hardtail, cheap-as-chips, MTB, possibly from Halfords. I remember how excited i was when I got my 1st bike with carbon forks. Now I have carbon wheels, and a gravel bike (I used to do bike packing on that old MTB before it was a thing).
I don't log on so much now - but fair play to Shaun for keeping it up all this time. Thank you - I, for one, really appreciate it.
