Not my bike a friend has advertised this locally and I thought you guys might be interested collection only from Blackburn at this price.
What my friend says:-
Fancy L'Eroica? So did I when I bought this - but I haven't restored it to its former glory. Maybe you can? This is a British brand that got taken over in the late 50s by BSA but continued to go under the New Hudson badge but with Sturmey Archer hub gears (that's roughly how I have dated it). It has rod brakes that work but I wouldn't want to go down anything steeper than a speed bump. It actually does work, when the tyres are pumped up - it's a heavy bike, as you'd expect, and a total rust bucket but it rolls. Definitely has potential if you have the elbow grease. Will come with the basket, Terry saddle and fancy new Dawes saddlebag, and the pump which is not original but at least it fits. Pick up from Blackburn if possible please. I might drop off if you are not too far.
