hello i have brought a old dawes bike 5 sp simplex rear gears mafac racer brakes on the bb it has dawes
components left side 6062 right side dc no stcikers can any body help

Isn't it Davis Components? 60 62 is to do with the angles on the bottom bracket.

i have found out it is davis components bb & lugs no frame numbers so it must be an unbranded frame.
i will put pics on when done just need to find a name to put on it
the rear drop out has a drop gear fiting if any body cat help to find what model or year it is

You may not be able to post pics yet so best to link to a photo sharing site. I have a Dawes frame, a bit later than yours, there is also no frame number so suspect they didn't use them on many models. You may have look for other clues.
