But from page 58 it is bikes and bike stuff.

However, the whole thing is a fantastic way to waste half an hour.

Awesome look at the past, only 80 odd quid for a motorised bike or scooter thingy

Can't say I cared much for the helmets, and the locks didn't seem very secure, but there was a pleasing innocence and simplicity to the bicycles and components that is lacking today and that I miss.

Basic bikes are much cheaper now in real terms.
Halfords 3 speed Roadster £19 7s 6d in 1965 = approx £360 today.
Raleigh Riviera 3 speed Roadster £23 19s 6d in 1965 = approx £445 today.
Raleigh Mustang 15 speed rigid MTB £160 (from bill of sale) in 1989 = approx. £375 today.

Maybe people shouldn't expect too much from their sub-£150 BSOs bought now......
