Just joined the forum today based on advice of coworker. Recently purchased an REI CTY 1.1 for tooling around Washington DC.
I have an1985 Vintage Bianchi. Not sure if it's worth fixing or selling. Tires/tubes need replacing and rear tire is badly out of true. Any feedback appreciated. See pics. Thanks.

Need recommendation on new tires (currently Kenda but can't read width since sidewall deteriorated but rims are Araya 27" X 1"), new tubes, and new rim strips. I guess major service including tire truing, redoing cables, etc. is about $175 locally. Looks like the whole thing should cost about $300. Am I in the ball park? Thoughts. Thanks.

I’d put Panaracer Pasela PT tyres on that, they’re a nice retro tan wall
