My forehead is a tad overdone today after a ride out yesterday in the Pennines.

It's the northern sun tha'knows.

We are happy to share a little of our northern sun, but I didn't think it would shine as far south as the Pennines..

Yes there is so much more of the country north of the Pennines isn't there. I keep forgetting.

Anyway I understand the sun only shines on the righteous so I must be doing something right.

I still have the remains of last year's cycling tan - it's pretty obvious on my feet.

Just to remind you all, this was my tan last year (and delthebike's too - he's the one with the hairy legs):

Wow Helen, you go an impressive colour. I can hardly manage much more than slightly off pink or bright red. That's with spending 3 weeks in Central America (I've gone a different shade of white though for a change.....).
I caught the sun on my clubs sunday run. I now have a shiny red face.
