Today, I rode my first ever Century. 102 miles. (I didn't trust Strava not to knock of a bit and I'd have been a bit peeved if it logged me at 99.7 miles!)
This also tots up to just over a thousand miles this year. To say that I'm a happy bunny is an understatement as my longest ride to date has been 84 miles on the London Bikeathon Olympic route a couple of years ago.

Hopefully my next Century won't include hailstorms & dastardly headwinds for 30 of the last 40miles. Bejesus, that was energy draining!

Not a mega hilly route, but with enough to keep me occupied
I'm going to post this in My Ride Today as well, with a few pics and better ride description.

Back home to celebrate this evening with several pints of Speckled Hen... :becool:

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Congrats. Mine too was 102 miles when I did it, though that wasn't intentional. I don't know about you, but for me it was a lovely thing to tick off but I have no plans to repeat the experience. :-)
