Never in doubt for a couple of Whitby Lads!

BTW, looking at the photo, you may have dropped your panniers at Dunnet Head ^_^

Excellent write up. I now realise why you had no panniers at Dunnet Head!

Are you Whitby born and bred? I was brought up in Glaisdale.

Hi T4tomo
I am sorry to say that I am an incomer. Born Middlesbrough & raised in Billingham, but I have lived in Whitby for about 40 years or so. I was taxi driver in the town for many years so perhaps I have taken you home sometime.:hello:

You might know my friends at Churchdale farm?
Afraid not, I can't even place Churchdale Farm locally

I haven't lived there for 30 years! Is it one of those up Merryweathers near Tony Richardson. It doesn't ring a bell from up the Dale.

Toying with the idea of LEJoG as a daft retirement gift to myself (next year!), & I came across your adventures.
Well done....some of the weather sounded.....suboptimal.
Where next for you? Must be something else!!

Thanks for your comments mikelow. My retirement pressy to myself was a coast to coast walk and celebrating my 70th on the way. My next 'adventure' was to have been cycling the Coast to Coast with a group of pals, all retired, & most of us over 70. Sadly, CV19 came along and a lot of people have lost a lot more than a few days holiday. I hope you enjoy your LEJoG. I know that I did in spite of the weather.
Good Luck with your plans.
