Actually, I've had cross-winds that were anything but neutral. Sometimes cross-winds can make cycling hard work.Only if the wind is from 90 degrees will it be neutral...

its amazing how even I tan in our pan flat landscape. the designing of the mountain backdrops so that no sun is blocked by them was a marvelous Scottish invention up there with the best of them.Sun and rain?nah as Mhor slaps on the after-sun after another weekend on the sun filled tracks of Renfrewshire![]()
I kind of believe this but only for parts of Scotland. Spent 3 days on the Isle of Bute last year and it was grey and raining all the way from Glasgow airport to the ferry, got to the island and it was dry and sunny for 3 days. On the ferry back it started raining and didn't stop until after i'd taken off from the airport. We don't really get wind and rain here, we just tell the English we do![]()
Hahahha .... you presumed wrong!went out on a circular route this morning, wind was in my face ALL the way, i thought the 2nd half of the circuit the wind would be pushing me forward ?
If you're up again, shout! I'm not far from the ferry, and am originally from Bute. What you say re the weather there is correct, it has its own micro-climate.I kind of believe this but only for parts of Scotland.
