If you do it online do you have to complete it in one go or can you fill in the bits you know and then carry on say the following day? We have an overnight guest and I don't know their details.

I wish that would come true ... somehow though some of those bikes seem to have upgraded their frame and tyres and method of propulsion - though they still seem to be able to use bike lanes and ASL's

Yes, you can save and come back. Which is lucky. Damn thing crashed on me last night, just before submitting. All the details were intact when I went back in.

I had to answer "train" - I bike - train - bike most days, and the train part is the longest distance. I do sometimes do the whole thing by bike, but usually only once or sometimes twice in a week, so for the purposes of the census I commute by train. My other half could put himself down as a bicycle commuter, though!

It is still not too late. It depends how much you want to be bothered by people calling round and asking you why you haven't filled it in yet. Do it on line, it is much quicker.

You don't need details of an over night guest apart from name, d0b, sex and usual address.

Surely who you do that with is your own business? What overnight guest ?

It's also no more convenient for the government but helps Lockheed Martin a great deal - why on Earth is the UK census being run by an American arms company?

None of those choices apply to the retired, or the sick, lame and lazy, who don't go to work. As the question is specifically about travel to work then the "Other" option doesn't really apply.

Ooops forgot to fill mine in..... Will have to get cracking this evening. I'm going to do the paper version in Welsh. If I'm being forced to do this census they are going to have to scan the effing thing in at least.
