Hi,
Had my Carrera Zelos since the end of 2013 and although the lycra gang hate this manufacturer, I've had no issues with it at all.
I didn't change much during 2014 and didn't use it very much. One of the first changes however was new handlebar tape (which has since ripped).
In April 2015 I completed a sponsored cycle ride from Liverpool to Withernsea which was 190 miles with my uncle over three days. I managed to raise over £1400 for charity. Here is my bike having a final service and changing the tyres to Vittoria Rubino's which have now done over 500 miles without a puncture.
Some photos from the ride:
In May 2015 I achieved my longest distance over one ride. I completed 113mi from Leeds to Hull to Beverly and back. Put it this way, I won't be doing that again for a while!
I then had to commute by bike for a week however this was only a few miles. I hate rucksacks because they just attract too much sweat!
I've now bought a new Topeak Aero Wedge (small) saddlebag to replace my bulky Bikehut one. It looks great and can still hold two inner tubes, tyre levers, patches and a multi-tool. My Topeak iGlow mudguards have broken since, but it's summer now so they're not required as much.
So that's my bike at the moment. Planning to do 48 miles this weekend with a friend towards Emley Moor.
