First victory all year for Demi Vollering, up a cracking climb in Spain! I'm very pleased for her - I think there was a lot of pressure on her.

That was a good stage, great racing and cracking landscapes. Vollering is very classy although I was cheering for EL. The way she left the others on the hairpins was very impressive.

It’s been a cracking Vuelta Feminina so far! I’ve been delighted for every winner! Evita Muzic (cracking name) was fabulous yesterday! I’m very excited for the final two stages!

This will be the highest total ascent since the race was relaunched in 2015, at 7,871 meters,
the same as the 20th highest mountain on Earth, Ngadi Chuli in Nepal.
