Good spot, though that was where Van Aert went absolutely bonkers on the descent and he thought "be a shame to lose a TdF twenty minutes from the end"
Great final stage though....chapeau to Wout but who else is going to risk his yellow jersey attacking like that, all he had to do is cross the line.
Class to watch though 😁

Van Aert Montmartre....

Correct 💯

Bitter taste from the women’s gravel world champs. Shirin van Anrooj was about to win but compatriot Lorena Wiebes got a trade teammate to chase her down and pipped her at the line. I know that gravel isn’t done as country teams, that everyone’s basically independent but the optics weren’t good. Lorena’s getting a lot of heat on social media and it’s a very shallow victory at best! Lorena may be an incredible cyclist but I don’t think she’s an incredible person!

Watching it I couldn't work out why Kopecky was pulling the chase group when she will always get out sprinted by Wiebes and Vos. The big hug between her and Wiebes after made it pretty clear though! Still no idea what Yara Kastelijn was up to. Wiebes really isn't interested in being liked is she

Are they not national teams competing? I thought the Netherlands riders were all wearing Orange?
I know gravel is a lot more individual than road, but still... It looked really, really bad - especially as a Netherlands 1-2-3 was otherwise a possibility - the chase group brought Silvia Persico with them who took bronze.

All in all it looked stereotypically Oranje

It's not road racing - it's Gravel - forget road racing tactics; you ride for yourself, despite your jersey.......People need to take off their road racing goggles when watching other disciplines.......
