Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
A police spokesman later in the video explains that a motorist ("I know my rights!!") refused to obey the instructions of several officers and forced his way onto the road just as the peloton was arriving!

Entitled drivers are a problem. I had one at a race who shouted: "I'm going, I don't care" at me with a STOP sign / hi-viz just as the whole race convoy arrived round the junction as he went to drive off. Oddly enough he stopped and went quiet after that.

Even having police there doesn't always help. I remember a driver refusing to stop in the Kellogg's Tour in 1994 and causing a multiple pile-up...

Phil Anderson posts on Facebook cycling pages. What a bloke.

Josh Tarling wins the Chrono des Nations.
Jay Vine takes second place and Kung third.
Vine has had a class season for me...love to see him being given a go at GC somewhere,
obviously not going to happen at UAE.

Why didn't I know that the La Tisa climb in the Veneto Classic, which they do 7 times, is a leg-breaker cobbled sprint? It's like we're back in Flanders...

Rog wins the overall and the TT in Andorra. After the defeat to Feather last weekend, Pog must surely be considering swallowing his pride, no?
Nice payday and a Netflix documentary.

Diego Ulissi (every time I see him in a race I have to check whether he's retiring this season - he isn't) overcooks a gravel corner and has to unclip - he was in the lead solo

Dylan Teuns trying to bridge to the front group - it's got a Uno-X rider in.

I doubt he knows yet, but he'd have to get the win with a teammate in top 15 and no Uno-X scores to nip them for the WT spot now, and that's not happening at all

Sakarias Koller Løland probably doesn't know it either, but went to the front and started putting the pace on to thwart the potato hunter

This is a nice little race.

It's going to be a shame when UAE wins it*.

To be fair it's Florian Vermeersh whio only has a 1.1 win to his name
