Are riders opting out due to the location being Rwanda hence health protection requirements necessary?
Not exactly top drawer talent in the men's squad and the women's situation is bizarre in this day and age.
I get that it's not a course for Brennan but it's telling that there's no representation from UAE, Ineos or Visma.
It's embarrassing. Are they skint? Don't we have any decent women riders anymore? Where's our male tt talent all gone? Do none of the men want to waste their autumn riding for selfish Pidcock?
Wow, UK squad for World Road Worlds is lacking numbers, especially for women (One TTer and no road race entries!

Similar situation for Denmark - not talking the full women's squad (just two), no TTers at all, and no jnr or u23. They'll be focusing on astringstrong Euros instead.
Massive shame that they are not taking a junior team. Noah Lindholm Møller Andersen would have been a strong favourite.
Yeah, not sending men's juniors and u23 feels like giving up the guaranteed medals - especially in TT. The Danish youth success has been ridiculous there. That was the very start of the Vikings thread back on BR - a challenge to the received wisdom that the Danish kids were just better schooled and organised and that they'd be overtaken later when they got to the pro ranks, as they'd basically done all the developing they could already, while others were still progressing. I think the current crop of pros showed there was still more to come.
Genuine question. Have any of Bjerg, Price-Pejtersen and the fellow before Bjerg whose name escapes me, won a significant TT at pro level? It seemed like Bjerg, in particular, was going to dominate TTs but, off the top of my head, I can't recall a single pro win.
