I think individual riders being outspoken about politics is a bit boring (Like, who cares. You're a cyclist) But it's not necessarily wrong or controversial. They're just people. They can have views on stuff.

I suppose if it conflicted with your sponsor it could be a problem. If you were a member of the "smash the double glazing alliance" say, and rode for Deceuninck.

I'm not sure about having messages on your clothing and equipment. There might be roolz about that. Its hijacking the sport to promote your views. See what the UCI have to say.
