Potentially, but we've never seen him do anything much in a one day race, and the distance here is something else entirely

He's racing the Euros though, so lets see if he can do something there

It would be nice to see him do more. One of the good things about the current era is that the top riders are no longer happy being pigeonholed at GT riders, Classics guys etc. Having started watching just before the whole specialisation thing seemed to start I’m glad to see that.

So they stop the convoy to get the "all alone at the finish Line shot" and then screw it up anyway...

I’m not convinced Remco was ever staying with Pog. I don’t think it was entirely the saddle issue that saw him dropped.

That standing around waiting for a bike change for a saddle could have made a big difference, if he had kept riding and wait for service car to get to him instead of standing around.

But Pog does Pog things again and Remco got a gold plus silver from the event.
