I agree, given the stacked field it seemed like the sprint was over in a flash, Lorena Wiebes was there too. Brilliant for Carys though, only 19 !

It was timing more than speed, I think.
Carys started her sprint just before the leadout riders finished, so the others had to get past their own and other people's leadouts before they could launch.
Wiebes had managed to box herself in properly.
