It was a cracking stage. Bizarrely, I found myself in the unusual situation of cheering for a Visma rider. I thought MVK deserved the win as the most aggressive rider. I did feel a little sorry for Arrighetti, though. Sparfel has impressed me so far but suspect he may drop off when it comes to proper mountains. It's looking to me like a straight fight between your man Finn and MVK.

Literally just read article on BBC, she broke her jaw!😟
It was a really shonky speed bump. Sarah Van Dam who was on her own in second chasing Longo Borghini nearly lost it on that bump.
Doesn't Marlen Reusser have form for going the wrong way? I seem to remember she did it in a one day race a year or so ago. She was leading on her own and had enough time to hold on and win that time.
