It’s not going well though.
Vrsic was supposedly the inspiration for the numbered hairpins on d'Huez. A lovely climb, in a stunning part of the world.
He needs his own "swallow his pride" thread to rejuvenate him.

I wonder if he ever rode up/down it? You'd think so as the ski place he used is a few minutes down the road, but had he already moved abroad when he started to ride properly?
