More often than not it's won by someone who had a good end to the Tour, and it's pretty much always (well, for the last 20 years) been the first Saturday after the Paris stage

Jesus. Insane huge 30ish man crash on a broad straight road with no real racing going on in the Tour of Denmark. It was the second row and went the way across the road on both side and about four or five riders deep
