Talking of the worlds it’s a bit damp in Montreal again today. It seems more often than not that Quebec is raced in beautiful conditions, but Montreal is murky.
Fingers crossed for the week after next.

Seixas clearly still a teenager, as he just fell asleep on the finishing straight, totally mugged by Del Toro. He'd been looking over his shoulder for most of a km, and when Del Toro went he wasn't watching, took him two seconds to notice and react

To me he didn’t have a sprint, once he got going he was still going backwards.

I think he knew it was over pretty quickly, those few bike lengths aren't coming back by themselves. Against a finisher as punchy as Del Toro he needed to get straight in the wheel or he was done.
