Yeah, I have 23's but I was wondering if you could fit 25's with the VNT forks. Apparently it's not possible.

I think it would just be possible.

Thanks Ian.

I'll have to take a gamble and buy some 25's to try.

I am having a guess, though I did look at the clearance over the weekend thinking that even with 23's there is nowhere near any room for mudguards if you wanted...which I don't of course.

No mudguards for me neither but I did hear somebody from the club has managed to fit some king of mudguards to his VN Euros. No idea what forks he has though. I don't think they are VNT

I fitted some 25's today. I think it's OK with slick tyres

I'm running 23mm rims so I can run the 25's with less pressure and the comfort is very noticeable.

25's may cause clearance issues and 23's feel identical (IMHO). No brainer!

I meant clearance for mudguards and there's nothing stopping you running 23's at 100psi but each to their own. Personally I just find 23's a more practical and easy to source selection.

Pressure is in relation to weight - the wider the tyre the lower is the maximum it takes. In other words, the 23's at 100psi could violate manufactures recommendations and 25's at 100psi could be spot on.

I have nothing against 23's and this is the first time I buy 25's and I did that because I've read that 25's would take full advantage of my new wider wheels.

I'm thinking that since I have a matching 23's I should use that for a front tyre.
