You should know by now that the BBC gets everything about cycling wrong, so progressing to human powered boats is only natural.
In the past year we've had the infamous You and Yours - probably the most inaccurate feature about cycling ever broadcast - we've had BBC London telling us (among other errors) that helmets are a legal requirement, and this is just another in the sequence.
There was a time when the BBC prided itself on accuracy. Clearly not any longer.

I don't even get exasperated any longer with the press re matters nautical, they just can't do it.It's not a pedalo but a proper pedal powered boat
Best of luck to the fundaisers, but they are going to have to get their cargo stowage sorted out!
