24mm seatpost

Trying to get an old Peugeot Mixte recommissioned but need a longer seatpost ( preferably alloy) for this unusually small size. Anyone help?

I’m beginning to realise that! You can buy 24mm dia alloy tubing with internal 16mm so 8mm thick (surely sturdy enough? Just have to work on fitting a head attachment to it!

8mm wall, hmm one would hope so - good job its alloy and not steel, otherwise the mixte would wheelie!

Thinking about it again it’s just 4mm of course! 🤣🤣🤣 It has. 16mm internal diameter
