Idiots on the road on Friday.

First, an idiot in a BMW pulls out at a roundabout. No apology.

Second, another RAB pull out, but not as serious.

Last a nasty left hook. (I should definitely have got on the brakes quicker with this one)

I admire your restraint. I would've definitely stopped for a chat with the last driver.

I was in a rush to get home!

Unfortunately I find a lot of car drivers are in a rush to get home as well.

I did miss what was wrong with number 2.

Yeah got it,pull out,read the wrong title.

Three is crap and common.

What did i have on yesterday's return commute?

Second car overtaking a bus as I was cycling other way like they were on the racing circuit, two pedestrains crossing without looking, guess they didn't hear a car engine.Young cyclist jumping a red light near Aldgate just as I was pulling away at a junction with cars, another young cyclist pulling off of the pavement in front of me,but I had seen what was going to happen.(Harrow Green) Numerous boy racers. All incidents caught on camera.

No doubt today's commute is going to be a bundle of fun.

Nothing much happened on my route today. Had a guy in a van tell me I should be on the cycle path to which I replied "I dont have to" then he said "well you shouldnt be on the roads", to which I replied "I am allowed on the roads".
And he a woman pull out on me at a junction to which I said to her " what were you thinking?" as she drove away.

Unfortunately I had 2 complications with motorcycles. First, I was overtaking a group of them, and they all started to pull out of a bus stop (Netherland plates), so I was forced to cut one of them up because they wouldnt let me back into secondary after some pinch points and one of them wanted to undertake me.
Second motorcycle decided that he didnt want to use his indicators when changing lanes and cut me up.

Apart from that and someone shouting out of a passing car, my day was nice and peaceful and I even met a member from my club who had just done 72 miles and was heading home.

1st one - Yeah dozy driver.

2nd one - Bit borderline really, didn't really force you to slow down all that much so really worth posting?

3rd one - Muppet and completely pointless. Who was beeping who though?

Might be better to cut out the language if you are going to be posting on youtube, not that it isn't justified sometimes but does perpetuate the self-righteous cyclists thing a bit.

What's up with the sound?

If #2 had been the only incident, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it.
Not sure what the beeping was about, but I don't think it was directed at me.
I don't think the swearing is here or there - it was a natural reaction to nearly being wiped out.

the new "cycle lane" across harrow road on the high road is an absolute nightmare , cars just pull across it and sit there , the junction had far better flow when it was a RAB , but sadly too many drivers in London don't understand how a RAB works so it was ditched for traffic lights

All muppets!

I am glad however the title of the thread did not, as I first thought, mean 3 visits from the p******* fairy, esp. as you have gone 2yrs+ on M+'s without a visit (they are a bugger to get on and off)

I do however like the reassuring noise of the disc brakes on the Croix de Fer coming through on the audio (as well as the equally pleasing description of the first driver)

I don't mind from Thatched House to Harrow Green and up to Leytonstone,I've got used to it,I don't like the bit from Stratford to Thatched House, awful bit of road imo and hasn't changed much in the last 40 years,I should know I've ben cycling it that long.I used to commute up the Leyton High Road for twenty years and that was caviar compared to the alteration in my commute since last November.
