Great work! and there's me thinking I was doing well at about 17k miles (documented at least).

On my current trajectory it'd take me about 50yrs to reach 300k...

Good effort.

It won’t see many members as most of us won’t have sufficiently good records of our riding. I’ve got less than 15 years worth of data recorded, when I’ve been cycling for over 50 years. Even the 15 years has many gaps of rides not recorded.

Today I finally managed to tip me over the (documented) 300,000 miles and allow me to submit my claim to join the very exclusive 300,000 Mile Club.

According to their website and I quote "To date, only 153 people have been accepted as members since 1962."

The roll of honour list suggests they're all dead, but there are several living folk in there, some of them still cycling. Good to see McNasty at the top of the current member list.

Awesome. I'm only on 176,500 myself since 2015 and 82,000 of that is and I've lost the records of the non GPS stuff (pre 2008)

Thats probably because you need to be a complete anorak to log every mile you ride. 😁
